Well, he is dead, while Nacao Zumbi recorded a great song "Quilombo Ex
Optico" with Dj spooky on the Riddim Warfare album.
Chico Science has also been sampled by junglists DJ Carlos "Soul" Slinger
(on "Chico Science-Brasil Acapella") and Goldie ("Chico-Death of a Rock
Star", though a review i read apparently didn't know that it was a song
about a real person).

While on the Subject, i have been looking desperately for the Fila
Brazillia remix of CS&NZ's "Maco Maco" which is on a Brazil-only 2CD set.
If anybody has it and is willing to make a tape trade with me or just mp3
it, i will be your frined forever.
