I saw project logic earlier this week and I though some might be
interested. As I understand it, its a collaboration between DJ logic,
medeski of martin medeski and wood, the bassist from rollins band and
sax/flute player from arrested development (i think). Also had another
guitar player i didnt recognize. Anyways it was a nice instrumental
concert with a lot of experimenting. Mostly funk/hiphop/acid jazz, but a
couple of drum n bass songs also. It seeme dto me like the whole concert
was a jam session, but a nice one at that. My only problem was a good part
of the second half, they insisted on adding these high pitched deafening
sounds that didnt seem to belong. Apart from that, I though it was a good
show. If it wasnt for those high sounds Id say it was great.
who is project logic? anyone else seen this show?
