Ahh..we have similar CD burners, I have a Yamaha 4416 SCSI.
Are you using the CD copier or EZ CD Creator Deluxe?
If you use Creator Deluxe, go to File | Create CD and before you hit "OK"
go to the "Advanced" tab. Make sure the "Disc-At-Once" selection is checked.
It will eliminate the 2-second pause.
For my tech support time you owe me a copy of one of those mix CDs :)
