Hi all!
Remember back in June when John Lizaso proposed that we revive the dream of
a compilation CD of music from the A-J listees themselves? Rather than
letting a good thing fade away, John, Denise and have been getting things in
place behind the scenes in order to make this a reality!
Just to let you all know where we're at right now: we're putting together
the submission guidelines and getting the legal ducks in a row so that we
should be able to make our first official call for submissions in a few
weeks. There will be both a snail mail address and a website through which
you can submit your stuff, and a nice honest process by which folks on the
comp itself will get a fair monetary shake and some good exposure.
The three of us are *not* in it for a profit, but rather for the good vibe.
I've been on the list for four years now and personally I look at this as my
way to give something back for all the great tunes and tips you've all
turned me on to over the years.
Definitely more to come, so start getting that music together people!
