I find this hard to believe as Acid jazz is a term that can be related to
so many forms of modern jazz music. I don't think that Acid Jazz is
anything new, since the label is getting quite dated, even the sound is
getting stagnant. And during the intervieew with Gilles, he said that
this was the reason for forming TALKIN LOUD, cos he wanted to expand the
definition of Acid jazz.
I mean Nu jazz is a new label which Gilles peterson had no participation
in. It was Jazzanova/Rainer Truby boys who a way ahead than Talkin Loud
in my opinion. it is not grasped by the masses as much as Acid jazz, cos
it was not from UK but from Germany...
