Except that the track's not "Teardrop", it's "Angel" which makes more sense
given the context. And I also like it better. Not so pop. Or maybe cuz
it's Horace Andy on vocals.

Yes, you're correct, and its the one track that's not on the soundtrack.
Incidently, there's a cool musical only option on the DVD where the
composer talks about how the music came together and mentiones some cool
stuff, when Neo goes to see the Oracle she's listening to the radio that's
playing Duke Ellington's "I'm beginning to see".
