If you enjoy this period of Miles Davis' career, I would definitely say
that it's a worthwhile buy. However, if budget is a consideration and you
don't have the other records from this period (Filles de Kilamanjaro, Miles
Smiles, E.S.P., etc...), I'd tell you to get the cheaper stuff first, as
Water Babies, although being an incredible record, is really just more of
the same and not any better or worst than the other Miles-Herbie-Tony
Williams stuff. If you're a Miles freak like I am, then I'd tell you to
pick it up at all costs!
