Personally I do like to hear how other DJ's mix things; the DJ
KICKS series in particular is one that is usually interesting.
So I buy the mixed version and THEN if there are tracks I want to
DJ with, I also buy the unmixed one.
What bugs me is when the tracks I like DON'T show up on the unmixed
version. ;-)
The David Alvarado/Guidance mix mentioned earlier is smooth but
nothing spectacular. If you want some older Guidance tracks on
CD, check the two HI-FIDELITY HOUSE comps.
