I think your assessment is probably correct, Dirk. Here in SF,
he's playing with Jim O'Rourke. Now, I have nothing against
experimentalism (or noise), but Takemura has definitely taken
a new direction in his career that may not be to everybody's
liking. And from all accounts I've read, he's very enthused
about this new music. He's certainly come a long way since
his days as "DJ Takemura."
