I've got this one, New York Reality Check 101, or something like that. Some really
good hip hop tracks I'd never heard before with Premier scratching himself in on
all most every track so that I can barely stand to listen.

ick, just so this isn't a me too post:
I saw that a while back that Peter Kruder was coming out with something new.
Orchestra in the title maybe? Anyone know if this out yet or have any opinions?

After all the talk of what makes a good DJ, I went into my recently upgraded radio
station this week armed with a portable MD, a laptop (both borrowed), the standard
records and CDs and a bag of early 90's cassettes. I was able to get the
occasional tape/record and tape CD mix but talk about hisssssssssSSSSS, it was
horrible. And it took a lot more skill then I expected (mostly cueing up the tape
deck in time). People called in and made fun of me but I had a good time. Its
good to know that poor people have options too.
I put Virtual Turntables on the laptop and few mp3s to mix but I've been looking
for more. Anyone have any suggestions?
