Hey, close! I've walways described Leonie Laws as a cross between Beth Gibbons
and Shirley Manson (of Garbage fame).
All in all it worked for a few tracks but then got a

Hm, I always thought Breakbeat Era was Leonie, Roni and Die, who else is in the
band aside from the drummer?
