making electronic music. After a few years, his unique style of techno
began to appear on several labels such as A13 (UK), Multiplex (Denmark)

JBondy&Stupid Octave Cat VS Bass Kittens
electrotechno - - 1:30 am until 2:30 am.
Jon Drukman, San Francisco's "Bass Kittens", in an all out assault
against LA's aural barrage artists Jbondy & Stupid Octave Cat. San
Francisco resident Jon Drukman has been making electronic music for
over 10 years. His first commercially available recording, "Trip
Harder" as a member of The Ultraviolet Catastrophe was an underground
hit and recently surfaced on the Chemical Brothers "Brothers Gonna Work
It Out" mix CD. In 1993, he started Bass Kittens, releasing a string
of six critically and commercially successful dance 12"s. Now in 1999,
with the first Bass Kittens CD out, he turns his eye towards drum and
bass. Under the artist name Random, the debut album "Too Stoned To
Sneeze Without Regretting It", out now on Evil Teen Records, proves
that the UK is not the last word in intelligent drum and bass. Jbondy
and Justin Maxwell combine earth-shattering electro rhythms... robotic
melodies... hard-driving psychedelic techno... an amalgamation of
sound like no-other live electronic act. Drawing influences from
mid-80's breakdancing music and the psychedelic sounds of the current
Los Angeles underground music scene... their sonic maelstrom is
infiltrating dance floors across the west-coast. Frenzied crowds to be
expected when this three headed electrotechno monster unleashes inhuman
breakbeats.
