    Hey goood groovers!

    This is my first contribution to the list of
    akin mooders, groovers, and acidjazz heads.

    Finally managed to get on the list after realizing
    that all quality queries in various searchengines
    turned out to be directly related to this forum.

    As if anyone bothers my hard personal data are these;
    Resident of Copenhagen where roaming the streets
    looking for the perfect beat is part of the good life.

    I dj occasionally as well as hosting a radioshow called
    KICK JAZZ. It features mostly brand new tracks from
    labels like;

    Wall of sound
    Pussyfoot
    Ubiquity
    Guidance
    Outcaste
    Compost
    Bungalow
    Ninjatune (Kid Koala & Dj Food are gigging here tomorrow ! )
    Disorient
    Ultimatte Dillemma
    OM records
    MoWax

    As the observant eye will notice many of the above mentioned
    labels has a somehow electronic tip to them. This is what I
    favor though I started out in the late eighties with the likes of James
    Taylor Quartet,Corduroy, Gilles Peterson, Jack McDuff,
    Jimmy Smith and stuff with a more rare groove / retro tip.

    Well.... those were the words, the introduction, here comes
    the reply to the subject; AIR

    During a filmfestival held here in Copenhagen I went to
    the a doubleshow featuring AIR and Daft Punk. Whereas the
    latter was totally well done and down to earth the first
    has to be the most patehtic, sorry documentary / road / concert
    movie I have ever seen. The movie was focused and based upon
    tedious boring soundcheck sessions instead of the real stuff,
    dull semi-intellectual statements at various pressconferences,
    and irrelevant trivia like favourite burgers and s**T like that.
    Add a big handfull of strangers commenting on petite irrelevant
    details that held no interest for who ever....

    Conclusion;
    As airy as the music is as heavy and dull was the documentary.

    Will look forward to the various inputs from all over and
    remember to KICK JAZZ (102.9 FM - Denmark)

    Yours groovefully

    Walker aka Dj Wax
