Eesh... I bought "Coded Language" a few weeks ago, since I love everything the
Reprazent crew does, but I dunno, I couldn't really get into it. I normally like
vocal DnB, but the vocal tracks on this album are simply *awful*. It's like he's
trying to imitate Breakbeat Era and not even doing a half-decent job of it. The
Saul Williams track is cool, as far as the spoken word, but shit - it's like
it's building up to something, but nothing happens.
Also, he does some hard stuff and some ambient stuff, but doesn't seem to
balance it out. Overall I was disappointed.
