I haven't heard 'Like Water for Chocolate', but the instant the vinyl enters
my local shop, it'll be in my sticky hands. Just out of curiosity, can you
tell us the answers about "Pimp" and "Heat"? (course, I don't even know the
questions)
And, old news, but what did you think of Q-tips latest? With my budget
being what it is, I never made the purchase. And the album cover didn't
exactly sell me, either. It didn't look like growth (in the sense of
development, not marketshare) to me. As for being a fan, I wouldn't have
survived high school if it wasn't for ATCQ.

I dunno. Some of the people that I talked to who had problems with the
lyrics, were caucasian or another nationality. Once they had certain
questions answered they fully understood "Pimp". "Heat", I like but I can't
vouch for that one:). I think people are harsh when it comes to criticizing
artists and their lyrics, because after all they ore the artists own.
Especially "fans" of a certain artists who tend to swear to be "#1" fans
(not to say your boy is doing this, so dont get mad B.Allison:) just putting
my thoughts out there.). I find that strange. Waiting for months for an
album by ones "favorite artist" to come out just to find ways to describe
how much one is let down cause, "it wasn't as good as the last one". It's
almost like people are afraid to let each other grow, am I the only one who
is seeing this? sorry for ranting, yall just had a thought..
peace
Ralph
