I remember a time when someone bought an album simply because of the artist who
recorded it - and nothing else. Now you buy an album because of the artist, or
the label, or the remixer etc. I often buy stuff from artists I've never heard of
because of the label they're on. You learn to trust a label, and know you'll like
whatever they release. (That's Fused & Bruised for me)(amoung many others).
And I s'pose it's the same with the engineer or the studio. If you like what you
hear, and that's the reason, it makes sense to find more of the same. Little bit
more risky following the studio, I'd think. Who knows who they're going to hire
their facilities to?
