Attica Blues is alive and well and releasing another album in the near future.
You can find them at their web-site:
http://www.wheldrake.u-net.com/atticablues
They should have some info on what they're working on and where to find it.
By the way... does anyone buy their music anymore, or is it all just ripped from Napster?
Peace

Can't answer your question. But I did 'loot' a nice
MP3 off Napster recently ---- Adriana's "Reality (the
Attica Blues remix)." Not bad, not mindblowing, but
not bad. Some more organic sounding bass, mixing in
KRS-One "...It's all about reality!" after the chorus.
Speaking of which, I also downloaded another
Attica remix --- Earthbound, "Reggies."
First, who is Earthbound -- I like the sound.
Second, what's Attica been up to? Didn't they
split up or something? Who's doin these remixes, one
guy or both? Man, I hope they pull it together and
drop another beautiful album. Their last one has to be
one of the most widely overlooked, underrated album of
my lifetime.
