I think that what LB is possibly getting at is that
there are other people on this list who own or work at
labels, distributors and/or shops, who deal in this
kind of music, but don't feel it's appropriate to use
a discussion group to solicit sales even if it's in
the context of what's being discussed.
Maybe a separate acid-jazz.sales list should be
created? That way private users could also unload
their used records/CDs in addition to labels,
distributors and shops selling / promoting their
product. Such a list called 'whitezone' has already
been created for techno & IDM buyers and sellers and
seems to be very useful and successful.
Just a thought....
