    I don't know Dirk or his history with Groove Distribution, but most of his
    posts to this site are in response to questions or others' posts, and he's
    been very helpful and knowledgeable in many cases. I realize that it's a
    fine line, but working at a record store or as a distributor doesn't mean
    that when Dirk or anyone in his shoes talks about the music industry or
    about releases in his own store that he's spamming the net. And I think ,as
    one who has closer ties to labels and distributors, Dirk's perspective on
    the Napster/mp3 issue is of interest. Even if you disagree with him, he's
    brought up some valid points.

    So yes, I think going after Dirk on this list is in bad taste... let's keep
    it positive.

    On other things, I was surprised at how different DJ Food - Kaleidoscope
    was from previous albums/remix CDs... it's very cinematic and intense with
    far fewer beats than expected. I like it!
