    Groovesters,

Miles and John Lee Hooker did the soundtrack to a Don Johnson movies in the
late '80s called 'The Hot Spot'. Lame movie (despite the fact that I think
it was directed by dennis hopper), fantastic soundtrack ...

Absolutely Flawless Soundtrack but I will have to disagree with the
adjective "Lame". The Combo of Miles and John Lee is Haunting and
Stunning!!!! The movie itself is sort of in the vein of David Lynch's "Wild
at Heart" starring Nicolas Cage, Laura Dern, Willem Defoe, and Crispin
Glover, Tarantino's "Reservoir Dogs" and "Pulp Fiction". If you enjoy
cutting edge then you may enjoy "The Hot Spot". If you can not handle the
heat of Steamy Carnalism then the movie may not be you cup of tea, but the
Soundtrack is flawless!!!! We I was stationed in Hawaii I called in a
requested a song from "The Hot Spot" and it later became a requested CD.

    nice to hear
them together in a *very* sparse bluesy setting.

Truely Haunting!!!! If you dig downtempo ambient vibes then this will
definitely hit "The Hot Spot". I might add that Virginia Madsen is so so so
so so so so so Hot in this Flick!!!!!

      Not sure whether it is
    still available....

If someone would like this CD give me a holler and I'll see if I can locate
on for you. It is essential for Miles fans, John Lee fans and Moody
    Downtempo fans!!!!!

    Semper Motociclismo,

    Pace'

    peace all,
    kboi
