Never heard of a third album. Never even heard
they were working on it. Might it be a demo reworked
as a third? Or a live show? Last I read, Doodlebug or
Mecca or both of em were holed up in a studio with Dr.
Israel in Brooklyn, working with a collective on an
album under the name Trumystic Sound System. Haven't
seen anything like that out.
As far as Butterfly, I only know of the track he
did with 4Hero, "Action." Anyone know of anything else
out there by him? His voice, imo, is the essence of
that pure Digable sound.

Personally, I think some of the stuff by
Spearhead, especially the first have that organic
sound with a little rougher edge. For use of
instruments though, it's hard to rival The Roots. I
dunno, this is off the top and not a great list. Maybe
I'll come up with more.
