----I think that an excelent job was done on "The New Groove: The Blue Note Remix Project Vol. 1" It includes remix's of Cannonball Adderley, Donald Byrd, Ronnie Foster, Grant Green, Gene Harris, Bobby Hutcherson, Ronnie Laws, Noel Pointer, Horace Silver, and Lonnie Smith done by Large Professor, The Angel, Diamond D, The Ummah, GURU, the Roots, the L.G. Experience, DJ Smash, Easy Mo Bee, Michael Franti (and Spearhead).
