i went in the other week and spun a quick set (30-45 mins--normally just
enough time for me to warm up) for my new buddy spider (really nice
kid). you should check the site, it's pretty cool and he's playing good
music. spider & his posse have the uk hookup--hospital (one of my
favorite jungle/d&b record labels) is sending him records in the mail,
and bad magic (uk's answer to the u.s. hiphop label rawkus records)
wants to put out his hiphop stuff... anyway, he introduces me a speaks
to me briefly after the set. as far as what i played, i distilled a
night @ cookin' (my tuesday night thing @ 14 below in santa monica) down
to less than a hour's worth of music. so now if you want to know what
