Hey,
if you're going to Munich and you're into somewhat jazzy/brazilian tunes you
should visit the Muffathalle Cafe (http://www.muffathalle.de) on Fridays
when there will be the Into Somethin' Club (http://www.intosomethin.com/).
Rainer Truby, Jazzanova have played their DJ sets in that club (amongst
other DJs).
Unfortunately I haven't been there, but Rainer Truby of Glucklich fame hosts
a club called Root Down in Freiburg (sorry, no URL handy).
Visiting Hamburg you could go to the Mojo Club (http://www.mojo.de/). On
Friday there's a more eletronic sounding club called electric mojo while on
Saturdays they perform more "traditional" dancefloor Jazz from the last
decades. It has been two years that I'vve been there and I visited the club
on Friday's only. On that day they played some kind of soft, jazzy but
groovy kind of Drum'n'Bass (amongst others).
Have fun in Germany,
Jurgen
