Tempo of the Down and B. Allison,
just wanted to thank whoever mentioned bonobo's
"animal magic" a while back. finally picked that up
(thank's groovedis). this makes my top albums of the
year. it's just engrossing, it's lush, it's ...
whatever.
I hope I can take a little credit for telling everyone about Bonobo's
"Animal Magic". I too picked this up from Dirk and Joe Joe at
http://www.groovedis.com "Animal Magic" is definitely on my best of
purchase list for 2000. If you or anyone else out that can recommend
anything else in the Bonobo vein just feel free to give me a holler.
Season Greeting, Merry Christmas and a very Reggae New Year!!!!!!!!!

p.s.: I am getting a CD for Christams that I am not suppose to know about.
I heard it at http://wwwmillenniummusic.com and it is absolutely
awesome!!!!!, Does the title "Mirror Conspiracy" ring a bell with anyone out
there?
from some of the indian influences to the
great spacing and timing. if you don't have it, buy
it.
speaking of bill laswell, i downloaded "black lotus"
the other night. it's this great 10 minute workout
through the indian landscape he seems to love so much.
nitin sawhney-like, although it might have been before
it. what's this track from? is the whole album like
that?
the more i listen to badu, the more i like this album.
it just seems more layered, organic and original than
her first. maybe more confident. i think the
soulquarians sound is starting to meld with this work
and d'angelo's, although i wonder if it pushes a bit
too hard. just a thought.
alright, i'm done...
