Iīm desagree with you... let me tell you why...
Not any kind of musician could play Jazz music... I think jazz music is more
complex than other forms of music... Why?.. īcause improvisation requires
experience, practice (lots of it) and knowledge.. Acid jazz music use most
of jazz fundaments (chords progressions, break beats, rythm)...
Thereīre new musical forms that uses this bases (dnb, some electronic
abstractions, jungle, hip hop)...
Iīm not trying to be pompous, I just like to share some comments to acid
jazz listeners!!!.. and to say: jazz and acid jazz are not the only true
music, are the king of music...
How many people are we in this site?... and how many people hear music in
the world?... can you imagine what % of acid jazz or jazz listeners are in
the world?... thatīs why I said "the most" people donīt understand jazz or
acid jazz music... and I have it in my bones too!!...
Keyboards, Jaguar, Tequila, Marlboro, and Acid -Jungle-dnb music..
Peace

someone is discussing something I take interest in. Finally it seems like
I get to talk to folks who are not preachin' to me how relevant HipHop is.

music!..

> Yes, I agree but usually Jazz musicians for some odd reason decide to
separate themselves from the rest of the world genre-wise as if putting Jazz
superior to all other forms of music. They CAN come off as being very
pompous in their belief that Jazz is the only true musical forum.

has to be spacey. You guys checkout Kazumi Watanabe's Mobo I tracks 4.
"American Short Hair" and track 5. "Mobo II" this will give you feel where I
am coming from and going to. Improvin' with the sonic abandonement of
Hendrix and the sadness of the torchlight songtress Billie Holiday.
