i've been so busy, i just read a post from 1/10 by jim kerr which i wanted
to respond to. you mentioned some of my favorite current releases/labels.
i'm stuck at the newark airport and have 3 cd's in my bag -- one by pepe
braddock, the other is a bbe 3 cd comp released last year, an a groove
armada cd. you mentioned pepe braddock and some bbe comp-- maybe is the one
i have which is called mad styles i believe. pepe braddock is so amazing
--everyone should check out his full length which is an import but well
worth the money (i got it at rebel rebel here in nyc) and his newer single
called "burning." after i heard the burning track at a club 2 months ago, i
had to go out an buy it and i hadn't bought a record in ages. i saw him dj
at baktun 3 weeks ago and could not stop dancing. he is not great at mixing
but the selection was so wonderful and indescribable so i won't even try. he
said he will be dj'ing in miami.
i'm surprised no one mentioned the dorfmeister show at twilo in nyc 2 weeks
ago. i was dancing til 7am. i think my free time at this airline computer
is up.
bye,
caron banez
