This week’s new releases list is now posted on our website
(http://www.groovedis.com). Lots of new releases this week, with something
for almost every one. Also please note that we have sound samples for some
of this week’s singles (we almost never do sound samples for singles).

    Highlights This Week (02/07/2000):

Acid Jazz/Trip-Hop: new Boozoo Bajoo 12” on Stereo Deluxe, rockers Bush get
remixed by Nightmares On Wax, the Chris Joss Orchestra album finally in on
CD, new 12” from Swedish hip hop deejay and DMC Champ DJ Goo, Incognito
remix album on CD, very limited new 7” from Kid Loco, and two new 7” singles
from Jazzman along with their first full length LP compilation.

Breaks: advance copies of the next TCR single by Breakneck, Bell Café Band
on Dynamite Joint, new Fuzz Townshend single, breaktrance sounding single
from Lexi Love out on Second Skin, seriously dancefloor aimed new single
from Meat Katie, Wall of Sound’s latest by Themroc, and still a couple
white labels left of the Terminalhead remix of Feeler’s “Pure Calm”.

Drum & Bass: restocks on Blue Train’s drum & bass cover of “Girl From
Ipanema” (which has been out of stock for months), Lexi Love 12” on Second
Skin which is heavily influenced by breaks, two (yes two!) new Peshay
singles—“New Jack Swing” and “Truly” (with remixes by Flytronix and Farley &
Heller), and a new Simon V 12” for fans of German drum & bass.

House: new Appleseed 12” on Kingsize (we had a few advance copies of this
single a few weeks back), jazzy house from Frankie Valentine and the Estereo
label, new Filter Queens single on Influence, new remix 12” taken from
I:Cube’s Adore album, Incognito remix CD, new Joey Negro 12” (with Chaka
Khan’s younger sister on vocals), the breakbeat house, Daft Punk inspired
new Meat Katie single, restocks on all the Neon Phusion releases we could
get our hands on, lots of NRK represses, a new 4 track EP from Chili Funk,
and the Disco Kandi and Loved Up compilations.

Any Acid Jazz Mailing List Members who aren't V.I.P. members yet (and would
like to be) can save $10 off a membership this week (be a Silver member for
only $15!). Just be sure to mention this offer when you call (888-GROOVE-4).
