I bought a pair of Koss R/90 studio monitor headphones for $39.99 at Best Buy.
The frequency response is phenomenal. Not only that, the headphone cord is
removable and nicely coiled and they are comfortable to wear. Koss also
puts a lifetime warranty on their headphones... can't really beat that.
RE: Sonys... I've had two pair of MDR-V100s... one of the sides invariably
always goes out after time. I won't but another pair.
