Saul Williams is indeed a poet first and foremost. He is currently working
on a Columbia Records' album (Rick Rubin is producing) and as of this past
fall, he was shooting a movie in Los Angeles.
His poetry (as well as that of several other incredible New York area African
American poets) can be found on Eargasms. This was intially an indie release
on Ozone Entertainment and Manic Records, but it was picked up by Mercury,
when the Mouth Almighty spoken-word label was being funded by Polygram (ahh
those wrere the days...) It's a couple of years old, and I don't think many
copies were pressed, but you might be able to cop it.
