I enjoyed the "Cococurious" tune, but "Ascension" from the first LP was
definitely better. "Cherish the day" and "Kiss of life" were two of the
best deep soul tunes of the '90s. Also, if you are into house, there was
a deep house bootleg mix of "Pearls' that came out in '96, by Kenny
Larkin (Detroit techno master), (I think). Also Hani (the bootlegger)
mixed up some SAde tack, I forgot it .Maybe, someone know. Write in and
tell us!!!
If you all like the deep smoothness of both Maxwell and Sade (the
two best future soul singers), check out the following: MJ Cole (UK
Underground Garage), Appleheadz (deep tech- house on Loaded), Kevin Yost
(deep jazzy house), Blue 6 (deep house), Jii Hoo (Jori Hulkonen, deep
house from Finland- "Let me luv U" on Pan (French label)), Toko Records,
The Rurals (on Peng and Idea), and Earthtones/ Seasons records (deep,
deep house). This stuff will take you some place, where both Sade &
Maxwell have taken me. Into the DEEP!!!!!
