The Roots' "Organix" LP is a modern day classic. Wayyy back in the day it
pioneered live instrumentation mixed with lyrics that had something to say.
The CD is available everywhere on MCA after having been next to impossible
to find for around 9 years (FYI: if anyone was wondering why after all that
time MCA put it out, I'm proud to say that I was the one who set up that
deal with I was working at Cargo Records. God forbid they thank me on the
sleeve though :)). The DLP is available exclusively through us (Groove Dis)
and the (too few) fine retailers across the country that buy from us.
There's also a limited "promo only" instrumentals album coming out soon
featuring tracks from their entire career. Be sure to look out for that.
Speaking of which--if anyone knows of a store that SHOULD be buying from us
that isn't, tell them to give us a ring and if they open an account and
actually place an order we'll give you either a free Silver Membership or if
you're already a member a $25 credit. Just remember they have to mention you
AND they actually have to place an order. They can call us at 888-GROOVE-4.
