Hi y'all.
The much acclaimed Brainfreeze CD can be easily found in mp3 format,
and I've been listening to it with great enthusiasm lately. What I was
wondering is that is there any idea where to start should I be
interesting of getting a "tracklist" of the record, or at least knowing
as many names of the 7"'s spun on it as possible? Personally I've
identified only one for sure. =) (Any tips for re-relases or comps to
find the tracks on are also more than welcome. =)
BTW, especially on the second part of the mix we can hear many, many
sounds familiar from DJ Shadow records. Are these the originals Shadow
sampled his stuff from, or do they spin Shadow's own releases (at least
in the video at http://www.regenerationtv.com/brainfreeze.html they do
kick in a couple of Shadow's 12"'s), or both?
I connection to that video there, any recommendations for good DJ'ing
videos on the net? Not just turntablism and battles, but preferably
whole "turntable compositions" like this.
