    summary: I wasn't into it.

    step one: opening "act"
well, dieslboy and mc dub2 "acted" like they were
playing good music, but alas, it sucked. I find it
quite impressive actually how people can perform and
be worshipped for so long, and still maintain the same
level of inadequacy. fucking boring bad-vibe snob
music. definitely a couple of good tunes (all of which
i think i already own) and cataclysmic basslines, but
on the whole, it was like when the person in the next
apartment over leaves their alarm clock on all
weekend. I don't feel so bad about breezing by the
    jungle wall now.

    step two: interlude
My favorite part!! somebody was playing classic ska.
very chill, very nice, and it made everyone smile,
    which was a nice change.

    step three: hobnobbing
I do belive that I spotted Mr. Size, Mr. Die, Mr. Suv,
and Mr. GQ! not positive, but i think so...

step four: the reason we went
well, I think Krust and the gang couldn't make it and
were replaced by a gothic band from new brunswick, new
jersey. Nah, just takin' the piss (did i say that
right??), but yeah, I wasn't too into it. first of
all, the sound was unbalanced (brought me back to my
old hardcore days...does the band suck or is it just
the sound guy??). Second, the talent of the
    instrumentalists (bass, vocal, drum) was
    under-utilized. third, I wasn't into the compositions
themselves. The beats were basic reprazent-style rock
beats with that wierd off beat in the middle, the
random samples krust was throwing in sounded simply
random, and the songs just didn't grab me. He had
looping samples that said "coded language" through
effects throughout the show and that was my favorite
part. got you excited for something that never
happened. I think the concept is probably very good,
but the execution hasn't come together. they did say
that was their very first live performance.

    step five: the good parts
MC Dynamite still makes me smile!! I really love his
(and other british jungle mcs) jumpy goofy jogging
suit style, and he's got some decent rhymes to boot.
The vocalist (Morgan) was a pouty-faced
daughter-of-dracula cutie pie with a really cool
dress. it was all gothed out with with spider webby
sparkly wing-like things on the sleeves. Her voice was
good and smoky, her lyrics sucked in an overbearing,
melodramatic way, and her mic was too low. Her
delivery of "Maintain" was heartfelt and good. well,
as good as it can be considering I don't like the
    song.
