Well, I guess I'm one of the OG's on this list. I'm 49, I've been a Deej for
going on 20 years on radio and a decade or so doing dance grooves. I still
play a wide variety of music, from African to AJ and further afield. I am
director of content development for Qradio which is being constructed around
Quincy Jones and, yes, he is really a wonderful man besides being a musical
giantgenius. I live in Monterey, CA and I have actually only ever met two of
you via the list, the esteemed Dirk Kahl and the inimitable Mark Turner but
I DO feel like I have a bunch of friends out there in the world. I travel to
Europe quite a lot, Paris mainly. I am friendly with DJ Morpheus of the
Freezone series.
