techno rebels is pretty good.
exotica by david toop is mostly really good, maybe not as essential as
ocean of sound, worth the interviews with les baxter and burt bacharach
alone.
the lives and times of sun ra by john szwed (?) is really good. truly
inspiring.
both vols of re:search incredibly strange music by v vale & andrea juno
are fantastic, completely essential.
