dublab is a Los Angeles-based collective of DJs that are dedicated to the growth of new, positive music and culture. dublab plays music that is deeply rooted in the traditions of jazz, soul, Afro-Latin folk music, and Jamaican dub. The various genres of progressive music that have sprung from these traditions (hip-hop, drum & bass, techno, house, and more) are also found on dublab. This unique program approach is strengthened by the comprehensive knowledge of over forty resident DJs and frequent performances from top musical talent. An extensive audio archive, record reviews, event listings, an online art gallery, useful links and more, round out an experience that is both entertaining and educational. It is a place we hope you come to communicate with others who share a common love for great music and the culture that surrounds it.
