a train-spotter in the original sense is a person who spots trains, literally.
Its a uk word for train fanatics who sit by train lines and watch all the
trains going by, maybe marking down in a book each time they see a partiular
type of train or train number (ie the d-train or whatever).
the word is applied in the record sense to those who spot records being played
by the dj at a club or whereever and love noting details on labels, artists,
etc, etc... Trainspotter's vines are typically anoraks (parkas or ski
jackets... ) so y'all should rush out and buy a totally daggy one to don on
your next club visit.. and dont forget a bad hat to throw on too..
