This week’s new releases and restocks list is now posted on our website
(http://www.groovedis.com). Some very cool tunes this week (including a few
that were featured on our radio shows) with at least one or two stand-out
records in every genre we carry.
We have now hired one new part-time sales assistant (Welcome Jeremy!) to
help out but we are still looking for at least one more. The sales assistant
job entails helping check in each week’s incoming freight, pulling and
packing outgoing orders and otherwise helping out around the office and
warehouse. We are also still searching for a book keeper (part or full-time)
to assist in the accounting and handle some administrative and office
manager duties. If you know of anyone in Chicago who might be interested in
either of these jobs please have them contact us at dirkv@groovedis.com.
There is additional information on both these positions in the Forums
section.
If you haven’t already done so, be sure to check out Future Breaks, our new
on-line radio show that debuted last week and is hosted by our very own Mail
Order kingpin, Joe Phillips. He played some great tunes on that show and
they’re all available from us! Expect a new edition of Future Breaks at
least once a month and possibly more often depending on Joe’s schedule.
There’s also a new edition of The Beat Experience on-line with a brand new
one coming this Wed. Please let us know what you think of these shows by
emailing us at sales@groovedis.com.
