    If you're serious about making music do not use a josytick port adaptor for a
    MIDI interface. These things do not transfer MIDI data as quickly and also are
    not equipped to handle the full spectrum of MIDI commands as a real interface.

    Joystick interfaces are for joysticks!

    Real interfaces can connect to your computer via parallel port, internal card or
    USB connection and can also handle more than 16 MIDI channels.
