P.S. List what's better Technics or Vestex. It will be
used for casual listening not DJing. I can't mix or
scratch.
if you are going to one day learn to mix then technics 1200's are definitely
the way to go. they have been the standard for easily 20 years and been
around virtually unchanged longer than that. they can take a fantastic
beating and just keep on performing forever.
if you are never going to mix or scratch then you probably shouldn't invest
in the, "dj" tables 1200's for technics and i believe pdx d3s for vestax.
they are really manual.. no auto return on the tone arm you need to be
around watching them so the needle doesn't cut a hole through the center of
your record, and they are unnecessarily expensive if you aren't going to use
them for what they were made for. a nice end user turntable is a much
smarter way to go and it will probably end up keeping your records in better
condition.
