I did a little searching on that free mp3 player, the Rave MP 2000
it is an older version (rave MP 2100 is out for sale now for $149, official price $219), only 32 MB flashmemory (average mp3 is 4mb, so holds 8 songs), can be expanded with an extra 32 mb (for $89, available where??), no USB port options so you have to plug it to your parallel (printer) port, the rave 2100 has 64 mb, can be expanded to 96 mb
bear in mind that this one of the first mp3 players, there are better versions with USB support and other devices coming out every day (diamond rio 500, and it can only be used by win 95/98 users! The reviews I read were not very positive...but who am I to complain for this price...it's dirt cheap...
