Offworld Music, our small underground label, has been fortunate enough to
have had 2 of our artist's videos accepted by MTV. We were lucky enough
to have actually shot the videos (on shoestring budgets), thanks to some
techno-loving film students. Our luck continued in successfully cutting
through the corporate red-tape to get the videos into the hands of the MTV
producers, and moreover, in getting them to give the videos a ONE TIME
CHANCE on the air. We hope that our luck will not run out here, and we
need your help to ensure that it does not.
The videos are for Nynex and Digital Assasins, two acts which have been
working the underground rave/club circuit for over 5 years. This is a
chance for both acts to get their music out to a wider audience, and
perhaps
finally gain the recognition they have earned.
Unlike major record labels with multimillion dollar promotional budgets,
Offworld is a small independent label with limited financing, and not too
many resources outside of our dedicated crew, and the dreams we share with
our talented artists.
We know that you've got better things to do, but thought that we
might be able to count on some support from our scene.
