    Yea!! I went to the show at Slims on 3/10. It was soooo good!!!! The line
    up was Genji on drums and vocals, Jonathan on bass, Bill on vibes and
    percussion and vocals, Chris on percussion and vocals, Jay on bari sax (or
    maybe it was a bass sax, it was so big), tenor and soprano sax and vocals,
    Richard on flute and kalimba and vocals, and Barney on keyboards (including
    what I think was a mini moog).

    The totaly live and on the fly new takes of their songs were outstanding and
    exciting. It was inspired! Jonathan had the biggest smile the whole time;
    I told him after the show that he was the happiest bassist I have ever seen
    :) One of the highlights of the show was when Jonathan played through an
    effect that made his bass sound like a TB-303. It was awsome. He said it
    was a combination of an octave pedal and another effect. I think he said it
    was a "ball" or "bubble" effect. I don't know; maybe some of you bass
    players could shed insight on this?

    The guest DJ, DJ Solomon looked pretty happy to be playing along with the
    Groove Collective. He joined in on songs like "Nerd" (accapella with out
    Nappy G). While not DJing, he was dancing with the rest of us and singing
    along:)

    Was anybody else from the list there on the tenth or eleventh?
