just got back from the show (bossanova @ the ball room--fais do do)...
good stuff:
tunes, tunes tunes!!!
finding out that mr. p does some cuts (not like the chemist, but nice anyway)!
bad stuff:
$20 cover--that's ludicrous!
opening djs--someone slap jason bentley, he plays 2 or 3 times a week, and he was blowing mixes.
3 turntables--why? no one used the 3rd one...
the milling crowd--it's not a hollywood wrap party, folks...
ventilation--non-existant
i'm still glad i went, even though it sounds like i'm not...
