Jason et al -
PUTS also have tracks on a couple upcoming comps. that are dope - "2001: A
Rhyme Odyssey" (Guidance) and "Deep Concentration 3" (Om)
> Also while I'm at it - Mike Ladd - what's the score ?
Ladd's got two albums on deck - one on NYC-based Ozone titled "Welcome to
the Afterfuture" under his own name, out any day now - and a second one
coming out in a couple months(?) on Big Dada, Ninja's sublabel that covers
hop that's more hip than trip. The LP on Big Dada is s'posed to be under
his Infesticons alter-ego. "Welcome to the Afterfuture" is pretty wicked if
you're into leftfield hip-hop a la Co Flow/Anti-Pop/Sonic Sum etc, breaks
down into what could only be approximated as free jazz rambling at points
and is all over the map stylistically. Haven't given the Infesticons a
proper listen yet, but once I do I'll try to nail that one down for you. As
always, full disclosure - all stuff I'm working press on so I'm slanted :/
Hope that helps...B
