Gotta second this e-motion....I was also at the Montréal show on Sunday (I
haveta miss tonight's gig in T.O. so I was verrrrry happy to be there) and
Femi and crew absolutely rocked the place! The band was beyond tight,
playing superb (that bass player!!), and the man himself has so much stage
presence and charisma that it's unbelievable...but never over the top
'cause it's clear that he's completely genuine. At 1hr 45 mins long, the
show was also longer than I can recall any other live band playing in ages,
though shorter than they can and do play on occasion apparently. I was
wayyy more than satisfied with the show, lifted by it in fact, and hope
that anyone on this list who's able to see them, but been debating the
ticket costs (hey, it costs a bundle to bring in a live show of more than
12 people) makes the effort. You won't regret a second.
