hey there,

i know this is an acid jazz list but i have a favor to ask. i have just
been offered a job in new york <manhatten to be exact> and i am wondering if
any good souls out there who live in the city might be able to help me out
with info. where to or not to look for a place, cost of living, fun stuff
to do, good papers to look in. anything you can help me with would be
great.

i am originally from toronto and live on queen st west here .. if that means
anything to you, basically it is right downtown as urban as you can get and
have frequented mostly studio type or parts of houses.

thanks a lot for your help i want to make the move as easy as possible...
