    I didn't mean for it to sound as though exploring new sounds and stuff like
    that is bad, my comments were directed more towards the premise that music
    has to be "adventurous" to be good. Here again, I guess there's a 1000 or
    more different interpretations of what "adventurous" means.

    Another point was that, amongst the greatest cutting edge artists recorded
    few of them set out to be "cutting edge" (meaning making a conscious effort
    like "I'm going to explore and be cutting edge on this tune"). I guess what
    I'm trying to say is "exploring" in music is more about fluid evoloution
    than about ego driven "look what I did."
