I have a problem with Voquette. They put our web site's archives up on their site, available for drag and drop, without notifying us or explaining to us what that meant. Some of the archives that our posted on our site, were put their under the assumption that they would not be able to be recorded. How does it help the artists if someone recorded their audio archive off of our site, encoded it to MP3 and stuck it up on Napster? (please don't get any ideas from this by the way)

We had to tell Voquette to take the archives off of their site. It took numerous requests for them to do this. Not only that, but they still have our live stream available for drag and drop on their site. It's not listed, but if you do a search for it, you can find it. We told them to take us off the site, but they still have us on there.

Voquette is a company that is built on the hard work of others. That bites.

    Subject: saving realaudio mixes

earlier there was some discussion about recording realaudio mixes to save
and play offline. i just stumbled across this which seems to do exactly that
and also converts to mp3 and it's free:
